We are excited to launch our new nutrition toolkit to help Canadians change their eating habits to prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes through healthy eating and physical activity. Dr. Paula Brauer, PhD RD FDC, University of Guelph and Rupinder Dhaliwal, RD FDC,Metabolic Syndrome Canada presented their work on the Development of an Innovative Nutrition Toolkit (NU-CHANGE) for personalized diet intervention in metabolic syndrome. This toolkit will assist Canadians with metabolic syndrome in making healthy choices and reduce their risk of chronic disease.
Helderleigh Foundation helps develop innovative nutrition toolkit with George Brown College
Researchers from MetSC and the University of Guelph are collaborating with George Brown College’s Food Innovation & Research Studio(FIRSt) to develop innovative materials for their CHANGE Program nutrition toolkit known as NU-CHANGE, thanks to the generous support of the Helderleigh Foundation.
