MetSC receives OTF grant to expand CHANGE Program in Ontario

Metabolic Syndrome Canada is pleased to announce an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant has been received to scale up the CHANGE Program in Brampton-area health clinics.

Over the next 36 months, hundreds of Ontarians in the Peel region will have access to the program which fosters a more active lifestyle. Participants will work with exercise specialists who develop individualized exercise plans that reduce risk of diabetes and heart disease, just one of the five keys to success of the CHANGE Program.

Several clinics will be trained this Spring, and the first patient enrollments in the 12-month program begin in May 2018.

We are excited to see the availability of the program increase in Ontario, as we continue to help Canadians maintain healthy lifestyles.
