Update: CHANGE Program in Halton-Peel Family Health Teams
A total of 398 participants with metabolic syndrome from five family health teams in the Halton-Peel area have been enrolled in the CHANGE Program since spring 2018.

With the help of funding from Ontario Trillium Foundation, MetSC and participating family health teams have been making improvements to the physical activity levels of residents in the Halton-Peel region.
CHANGE Program expands in Ontario
The number of Family Health Teams offering the CHANGE Program in Ontario continues to increase. With the help of funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, registered kinesiologists are working with the family health teams to improve the quantity and quality of physical activity of their patients and to encourage the adoption of healthy eating patterns to reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
MetSC receives OTF grant to expand CHANGE Program in Ontario
Metabolic Syndrome Canada is pleased to announce an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant has been received to scale up the CHANGE Program in Brampton-area health clinics. Over the next 36 months, hundreds of Ontarians in the Peel region will have access to the program which fosters a more active lifestyle.
